Siruseri IT Park, Chennai: Location and Connectivity

Chennai’s OMR belt has its own office-time energy. By morning, the road stretch from Thiruvanmiyur, Perungudi, Sholinganallur, Navalur, Siruseri and Kelambakkam starts filling with IT employees, office buses, cabs, autos, two-wheelers and college traffic. This is not just a road anymore. It is one of Chennai’s biggest technology corridors, where large campuses, residential townships, schools, colleges, cafés and service roads all move around the IT economy.

Siruseri IT Park is commonly known as SIPCOT IT Park Siruseri. It is one of the biggest IT destinations on Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road side and is located in Siruseri, a southern suburb of Chennai between Navalur and Kelambakkam. Siruseri is around 35 km from Chennai city along OMR, and the IT park is one of the major reasons this belt became a strong office and residential zone.

Where is Siruseri IT Park Located?

Siruseri IT Park is located on the OMR side of Chennai, close to Navalur, Padur, Kelambakkam, Egattur and Thalambur. It is part of the southern Chennai IT corridor and is officially associated with SIPCOT, the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu. SIPCOT IT Park is listed as being located in Siruseri along Chennai’s IT Corridor in Chengalpattu district.

For map search, visitors can use “SIPCOT IT Park Siruseri,” “Siruseri IT Park Chennai,” “SIPCOT Chennai,” or the exact company name inside the campus. Since this is a large IT park with multiple company campuses, employees and interview candidates should confirm the exact gate, company block, tower, visitor entry point and map pin before starting.

Why Siruseri is a Major IT Location

Siruseri became important because OMR developed as Chennai’s main IT corridor. The SIPCOT IT Park campus is one of the biggest anchors of this belt. It has attracted large IT and IT-enabled service companies, along with support businesses, food outlets, residential projects and transport demand around the area.

The location is useful for employees living in Navalur, Padur, Kelambakkam, Sholinganallur, Perumbakkam, Medavakkam, Thalambur and even parts of Tambaram. For companies, Siruseri offers large campus-style space compared to the more crowded inner-city office locations.

Road Connectivity to Siruseri IT Park

Road connectivity is the main strength of Siruseri IT Park. The park is directly linked with Old Mahabalipuram Road, which connects Madhya Kailash, Taramani, Perungudi, Thoraipakkam, Karapakkam, Sholinganallur, Navalur, Siruseri and Kelambakkam.

People coming from Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Taramani or Perungudi can travel straight through OMR. Visitors from Velachery, Medavakkam or Pallikaranai can connect through Sholinganallur or nearby link roads. From Tambaram, Chromepet or Pallavaram side, the route may connect through Medavakkam, Sholinganallur or Kelambakkam depending on traffic.

Peak-hour traffic can become heavy around Sholinganallur, Navalur, Padur and Siruseri entry points. For interviews or client meetings, it is safer to keep extra time for traffic, campus security, gate entry, parking and reaching the correct company block.

Metro Connectivity

Siruseri does not yet have fully operational metro connectivity at the IT park gate. However, Chennai Metro Phase 2 is important for this area. Corridor 3 is planned to connect Madhavaram with SIPCOT/Siruseri, and recent updates mention the Nehru Nagar to Siruseri stretch along OMR as part of the elevated Phase 2 work.

Once this metro stretch becomes operational, it should improve movement for employees travelling between central Chennai, OMR and Siruseri. For now, most visitors still depend on road transport, office buses, MTC buses, autos and cabs for the final stretch.

Bus Connectivity

Bus connectivity is useful because OMR has regular MTC bus movement towards Siruseri and Kelambakkam. Siruseri’s main bus stop is on Old Mahabalipuram Road outside the SIPCOT IT Park, and route references include buses from Saidapet, Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, CMBT, Tambaram, Broadway and Central towards Kelambakkam or Siruseri.

For daily employees, buses can be practical if the route and office timing match. For first-time visitors, a cab or auto from Sholinganallur, Navalur, Kelambakkam or the nearest known stop may be easier.

Railway Connectivity

Siruseri IT Park is not directly beside a suburban railway station. For rail-based travel, visitors usually depend on stations such as Tambaram, Velachery, Chennai Central or Chennai Egmore, followed by road transport.

Tambaram is useful for people coming from the southern suburban line. Velachery may help visitors using MRTS-side travel, though the final stretch to Siruseri still needs cab, bus or auto support. For outstation visitors, Chennai Central and Egmore are the main railway entry points.

Airport Connectivity

Chennai International Airport is the main airport for Siruseri IT Park visitors. From the airport, people can travel by cab through Pallavaram, Thoraipakkam, Medavakkam, Sholinganallur or OMR-side routes depending on traffic.

For business visitors and interview candidates carrying luggage, direct cab travel is usually the easiest option. Travel time can increase during office hours, especially near Sholinganallur and OMR junctions.

Nearby Landmarks and Facilities

Nearby references include Navalur, Padur, Kelambakkam, Egattur, Thalambur, OMR, Sholinganallur, and SIPCOT main gate. The surrounding area has IT campuses, food courts, cafés, hostels, apartments, schools, colleges, hospitals, local shops, buses, autos and cabs.

For first-time visitors, the safest approach is to confirm the exact company name, gate, tower, floor and visitor entry point before starting. Siruseri IT Park is well connected by road, but the final few minutes can change depending on traffic, gate rules and campus size.
